Position of Dog Guard - 110
I have a question about the position of a dog guard in a 110; to have some more space in the back for 3 Golden Retrievers
i am considering to remove the 2nd row seats because these are almost never used. With the second row removed, is it possible to
place a dog guard a bit more to the front or is the mounting location fixed ? Duct tape is The Force; is has a light side, a dark side and it holds the universe together.

I have the one from Travail. Not sure if the fittings are equivalent on the LR version.
The fixings use existing holes - top handle and the 2nd row seat fittings. Removing the seats won't help as the fixings are going to be in the same place.
I suppose you could make something to move the location, but beyond my knowledge.

Thx for your reply AMBxx ..... when the fixings use the existing holes then i suppose it won't be possible to mount the rack any further to the front. Duct tape is The Force; is has a light side, a dark side and it holds the universe together.

Maybe something like this is what you need:

I wanted to move the barrier closer to the back of the seats as there's a gap of nearly 6 inches. First I loosened the lower fittings and used a block of wood to move the barrier forward. Didn't work well as the wood came out too easily and it bent the bolts.

In the end, I just removed the lower piece so just have the top half in place supported by a dog crate in the back (I use the barrier to stop anything on top of the crate flying through to the front in an accident )
