Sorry, pictures didn’t go on.
Got it sorted. The main live to the relay connector was burnt out. Looks like it must have been a sloppy fit. Sorted now. |

In most cases the wiring on the window itself is not working anymore.
My Defender can only heat one stripe from the window and the 3rd brake light is not working due to this issue. I fixed the issue with the brake light and let the window as it is. I use the side mirrors in most cases anyway. |

Remove the 3rd brake light cover and you will probably notice the cover has worn away the track, a repair kit from Halfords for around £10 will fix the issue, I put on about 5 layers. It takes a day to cure

The front heated screen had about 100 mm that doesn’t heat in front of the steering wheel. Would no obvious brakes in the wires?
Any suggestions? |
