It's a government IT system, how do they usually go? |

I think it's an insurance industry managed database, not government. Government agencies simply access it when needed. Members of MIB are insurance companies and underwriters.

If it’s a travellers or fairground vehicle they have a different set of rules to comply with
No tax No mot No insurance Tow multiple overweight trailers Don’t even have to purchase them originally if gifted by a friend..... |

It was the road tax and MOT that were showing as negative rather than the insurance. |

You are supposed to pre book an appointment for the test and drive straight to the test centre by the most direct route It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten |

^correct, there's no excuse to be driving around in it,apart from going to the mot station. Hope they get caught and fined. Why should twa** like that get away with it.

Looking at the MOT check on the .gov website - it was MOTd and failed on the 12th, then MOT'd and passed on the day it was clamped and i took the photo. So looks like the owner had driven from the test centre and parked it in the Hgh St to only get clamped.
I guess its the tax that's the clincher - although newly MOTd it wasn't taxed (still isn't). If it was proper motor trade he'd have plates, but my guess is he's shady trade and was getting the car ready to sell. JB @Lodelaner Instagram Youtube greenlaning and other LR related content |
