td5 turbo feel pipe replacement
So, had the dreaded turbo screech. manifold warped. pulled manifold, etc. figured i'd install a new VGT turbo technics unit while i was doing it as i'd like more boost at lower RPM. nothing to difficult, but they insist i replace the turbo feed pipe. I can't figure out how to remove it. the centrifugal filter is in the way and i don't know what the easiest way to do this is. has anyone done this before?

i found a thread where someone indicated remove the oil filter housing- i assume the spin on, not the centrifugal. if I do this i'm sure there is a gasket in there. looks to be LVH100230. do i need to replace it or is it reusable? assuming this is even the correct course of action.04 110 TD5
