Chassis - difference
Hi guys, whats the differnce between a Td5 chassis and the TDCI chassis [ defender 90, engine mounts just ? ,

The LR center in liverpool have a puma chassis in their show room I was looking at the other day. To me it looked the same bar the engine mounts, the puma also had another bracket that I assume was for the gearbox 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car)
2009 - current .... 2005 zx10r

I thought the engine mounts were the same? the rubbers themselves certainly are (maybe they're in a different place)

Don't forget the TDCi chassis will have that unused bracket under the gearbox that everyone says "what's this bracket for?" Laughing

Does the TDCI still have the brackets for the 300 tdi and earlier fuel tank? My td5 chassis has them. Roel

1984 90 2.5 na Diesel - RR V8 (1994-2001)
1997 Camel Trophy Discovery 300TDI (2001-2009)
2005 G4 Discovery III 4.4 V8 (2008-2018) It's gone but it still hurts.
2003 90 Td5 (2009-now)
