I have just bought a 2011 110 csw 2.4 tdci
29k miles but inside is wrecked and most panels dented It’s going to be a interesting project! Haha yes it is ex Dawnus construction who had a project in Sierra Leone

Make sure that it has been fully decontaminated - Sierra Leone was very badly effected by the Ebola epidemic and check that that company has not been involved with building or running Ebola clinics or using the vehicles in connection with the operation of the clinics......... even after 2 years in the UK. From those shots I cant say it looks any worse than a similarly aged farmers hack/rental vehicle you'd see on sites and quarrys in the UK.

it does sound like it runs fine etc just needs TLC cosmetically. But my first challenge after giving it full service and a MOT/insured on the chassis number is getting it Registered with DVLA for a 2011 registration as it is a Rest of World spec not EU emissions spec so no cat, no EGR valve and injectors and fuel maps are different, so depending on how it goes, I either get it passed by DVLA as is, or have to get it to EU spec emmisions wise, the other two options I have is wait until its 10 years old in 2 years where the rules are a lot easier to register it or break it for parts and export the parts to USA where they fetch big money. 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |
