DCPU rear load liner
I spent Sunday playing around with the 110 DCPU. I’ve been accumulating the bits for the conversion from a DCPU to a USW for about a year, using eBay and my local body shop to get take-off 110 CSW side panels filled etc.

I’d like to put in a rear load mat for the dogs. I can’t find one... any pointers please?

Anyway, job done. Gratuitous photo shots. They seem to be tiny but I don’t seem to be able to fix that!

I just used some rubber coin mat cut to fit (well approximately)

The additional mat with the upturned edges is a recycled Freelander rear cargo mat.

I used rubber flooring matt off Amazon:

2m x 1.2m | Fine Ribbed Rubber Garage Flooring Matting | 3mm Thick Floor Roll £29

It looks like the original Landrover matting.

That would work 👍

However, the ribbed and even the 5 bar mats make sweeping out with a brush a real pain. OK if you what to lift the whole thing out and tip upside down but not so good if trying to leave I situ.

I've laid it down so the ribs are front to back not across so sweeps out fairly easily

I did silent coat and foam covered with ply and the matt stuck down on the ply with a further loose matt on top. Nice and quiet now

Thanks - sounds good. I’ve got some insulation to put down so will buy some rubber roll from Amazon.

Thumbs Up

He's a bit bigger now and pretty much a constant companion 24/7. I now know the meaning of a velcro dog. Very Happy
