Thats why i opted for the no premium increase + lap belts .Just in case I ever do carry someone in the back and get stopped .
But another insurer wanted the extra £80pa , But No belts , so how do you stand with the law when the insurer says you don't . |

I just remembered my snorkel , not something you think of .
But a plate how can that make it more desirable , less so if they were to keep the plates on . |

my s/wheel was ok , yours should be better as its anti theft . BUT !!!! I read think on here that now they knew they stipulated it had to be removed each and every time , But no premium increase But guess you have no option , unless its just a momo fitted . |

I have a HUGE list of mods. No problem with A-Plan. Reasonable price.

Again A-Plan no issues with any mod. Declared everything.
Removable steering wheel was for others classsed as a security feature so would have to be removed every time it was left. If stolen with steering wheel in place i'd be uninsured. A-Plan call it a modification so I can leave it on if I need to. They did have a bit of an issue with a retune, but said it's be £20-30 at most. It's next on my list. A-Plan were a pelasure to deal with and now have 2 motors on them. |

I will try them Chris , now I've declared the snorkel its a high value item and want extra £55 , Total now at £400 Full no claims , no points , age 60 and that's the best they can do with sabre , Avila won't touch with any mods at all . As mentioned above you’ll need to speak to the specialist A-Plan team in Thatcham for modified 4x4 insurance. The local branch can’t do it (apparently).
