Removing safari snorkel
Hi all, in anticipation of removing this from my 90, what would have been removed from the standard air intake ducting when it was installed? Aside from the standard side vent cover that is. Just wondering what standard parts I need to source first to get it back to standard.

Thanks

Mike

There'll be three bigish holes in the wing were the snorkel is bolted through that you'll beed to cover or fill somehow 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Ok, thanks to both, sounds like I don't need to get any more parts other than the vent Thumbs Up Yes the holes in the wing, thinking about some blanking grommets at the moment as best option and maybe paint them the body colour.....

As an update, and for others wanting do the the same with a td5, if you have a genuine safari snorkel you will need a lower air intake pipe section and an upper part that connects to the vent hole that would have been removed, plus the vent cover. Obviously they all differ slightly depending on what snorkel you have and engine.

I will do Richard, or pass the information onto Alan for you. Unfortunately it looks a real pig of a job to get to the bolts on the inside of the wing from the engine bay.

In the meantime I will need to get the pipe sections and vent, so may be a while before I actually remove it.
