Thanks LRA. I knew it was a Scammell (said so on the front) but had no idea what type.

That's interesting as I overheard one stall holder saying that they'd been told that they can't leave until 5, presumably to stop exactly that happening. I've no idea if it's policed by the organisers, though. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? That's why I like to go on the Saturday. We went on Sunday a couple/three years ago and found several stands had packed up early. Like you say, if you pay to be three until 5pm they really ought to stay. I'm sure the gates are closed until 5.00pm, and I have all the sympathy in the world if they have a long way to get home, but I am sure there are loads of punters who have come a long way, and paid not an insignificant amount to see the Show.
I parked, on Saturday, next to a couple from Cologne. He came over in his Range Rover as he was having issues with his 130 camper conversion. I'm sure if you had traveled from Germany to find the stands packing up at 2.00pm, you would be most impressed. On a side from this, I was talking to a guy on a stand who told me that the company he was representing have issues getting staff to work weekends. He was retired and he came back to work these shows for a bit of spare money to top his pension up. Also saw they were giving out flyers for the Billing Show next year? Not sure I would be phoning up to book camping for next June. Who knows what I will be doing next June? I may have won the lottery by then and be visiting in my helicopter |

We had a great time in the arena for the RTV and came away with a win for team Scotland. 😀😀😀
Great show and those challenge trucks are just mental. It always amazes me how much time and money is sunk into some of these landys, I need to win the lottery. We did manage to more than fill the Ram though 🤫🤫 Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 2015 RRS Autobiography SDV6 1994 Def 90 300tdi |

that scammell would have managed two miles per gallon on the original medows engine . I noticed it had been changed for a Cummins. think this year was better than last overall

I did some Googleing and it seems that the Showground is as it is until 2022 so there is the potential for at least two, maybe three more shows, if the plans for redevelopment goes ahead.

The Paranoid drawer is a thing of beauty. they had £200 off the price at the show. I would like to put one of these on my list and the weekend would have been a good saving if there wasn't so much on it already. People at Paranoid were really friendly and explained everything. Anyone got one already?? |

They are a lovely bit of kit, very well engineered. But a £1200 for a drawer I just wish I could! James
