I haven't been for years so I'm really just looking forward to having a look around. I like seeing the different mods that people have made but also love looking around the older vehicles. Darren

I would like to go. Peterborough is just down the road from me (well 60 miles or so) so it would be rude not to.
Not too bothered by the main ring entertainment, just like mooching around the stands. |

I like to see the various club stand particularly Camel Trophy, G4, Series etc.
Also, nice to look at trade stands, see if any bargains to be tempted. Will also be visiting 4x4Overlander Oh and Bowler, nice to see the Bulldog in action, even if tamely driven now. I too am also looking forward to having a look at some of the higher end products for the Defender, but only out of curiosity than necessity, ( The paranoid drawers do look impressive.). But more likely to be found mooching around the parts and spares stalls.
Will the venue again this year provide Land Rover only secured parking, though I will more likely not take the Defender. |

They have usually done LR parking. Not sure it is ‘secure’.
Being parked up with several other Defenders in a field, I suppose does lower the odds of getting yours stollen? |

It hasn't had secure parking before but has had plenty of yellow vests wondering about. James

Remember the kid's toy Land Rover stolen last year? Still plenty of Scumbags around.
Peterborough needs specific security before I take mine again. You pays your money and you get B***** all protection . 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue 1967 Morris Traveller 1966 Morris Convertible 2012 VW T5 Camper Quod Abundat Non Obstat. |

Can't quite remember which show it was, but there was LR parking and you got a red plastic token. No vehicle could be taken out without handing it back in. Not particularly high tech, but another useful layer of security.

That's cheap and effective
Just need to make them out of wood, and everyone will be happy. If I recall. Peterborough Showground has a fair sized car park with hard standing and roads. This is not reserved for Land Rovers so if it's wet, your 'exclusive' car parking area is the grassed area and you will get your feet wet before you even enter the show (obviously depending on your choice of suitable foot wear) |
