Well I went this afternoon had a look...…………...Bloody AWESOME..... Some styling from the old one used in a certain way...The roof, Alpine windows and the rear of it shaped similar to our muched loved models. The rear lights tho been more RR than the old Mini sort.

Plenty of potential for other a commercial version but not to sure on the pick up. We only saw the 90 version with is a 5 seater, plenty of leg room behind front seats but not really a boot. The dash board has style designs from the old RED prototype at Gaydon, with a big long deep tray from dash pinnacle to passenger door. Auto box and nice touch screen in middle of dash board.

Big chunky motor, that....hopefully if we can build them right, will do us good at JLR..

Chatting to a few of the other fellas there, we reckon we should really build it at....THE HOME OF THE LEGEND...

Renewed hope, hangin' to see it. And for the sake of all who work at Land Rover, I hope this is an outrageous success.

Glad you had a good day.

Did you notice any differences from the leaked Bond photo?

That's rather disappointing then ~ had hoped JLR might have been playing with us with the leaked photos... Sad

Ada is one of the few who have seen it, and his comments pretty much echo the others who have claimed to see it - they are all blown away.. to use Ada’s words, “Bloody AWESOME”. I agree, it’s interesting that he said “no differences” to that of the “Bond” leak. Still though, his comments are very positive!

We did see in the teaser image from Aug 28th ( mud grill ) that there were differences to that in the “Bond” leak.
There will be more teaser images released by LR tomorrow, Sept 5th. Hopefully we get a scant look at the bonnet.

At Burleigh Horse trials today and LR had the new defender ( in camo) on display but sectioned off.
This was the 110 version and looked good....had good wheel articulation by the look of it.
I am interested in the model but £40k is a hugh amount of money to me Big Cry

Ada / Sausage16 - any more thoughts you can share? Suspense is killing me. Have we’ve seen everything that is to be seen on the exterior with the Bond leak? 2005 LR3 - original owner - still going strong - Great Uber for my goats and rescue vehicle for the ATVs.

There's quite a lot in the latest pre~Frankfurt video, full side profile which doesn't pixilated too badly when you freeze frame and zoom.

Some of the images I managed to take off the video came out OK with some upscaling. The rear 3/4 view actually looks reasonable, though I've no idea who grafted a fridge onto the side of it.

On the rear picture, the upper left corner doesn't look right - almost like there is a cover over the rear corner, or is it a snorkel at the front sticking out ? Just doesn't seem to look right. -------------------------------

Personally I really like it although it is a bit of a marmite car to some of the staff at the plant.. Can't say too much before the big reveal but I really hope that it is a success..
