Been missing my little fella this week he usually comes to work with me in a special school. Insurers have insisted that any dogs on site must be therapy dogs. So tomorrow he is at the vets for a PAT dog assessment. Kids are really missing him too. Bit nervous but need him back on the passenger seat on the morning commute.

Is that like PAT testing a kettle? Plug the dog in and if the lights come on, he gets a sticker?
Hope it all goes well. That must be so frustrating, but I suppose it is for the right reason |

Pets As Therapy.
The effect he has on behaviour is phenomenal. Stress levels are lower. He teaches responsibility, resilience, caring, empathy and he is unconditional in his approach to all children. They read to him. Sit with him when they are stressed, play with him when they are happy and talk openly when doing so. They walk him in all weathers and talk appropriately to other adults when they speak to them about the dog. All experiences that are difficult to deliver. |
