I partially agree with Huttopia.
'there's a chance you'll be absolutely fine' albeit a small chance. no to be fair you generally only get to hear the bad news. I would suggest car stripping generally happens over night and not on farms, hotels etc. not in the defender necessarily but car jacking at retail parks etc is another problem or at a location you frequent ie home. hopefully you won't be falling into any of the above so I'd suggest with a little common sense you'll be just fine. |

Travel a bit further north from the midlands / yarkshire and miss all of the car jacking or whatever else goes on.......
Some lovely spots aound Durham & Northumberland |

Cornwall is nice and secure, has the Eden project and some beautiful coastline and is worth a visit 2015 HT XS 90
