I'm quite looking forward to seeing more of it - I've only seen it from a couple of angles and for me it's not enough to get a fix on what it's like. I've had numerous cars I've loved, including my current 110, and from some angles I've looked at them and thought 'Meh'

Ada, get one of those ballpoints with a mini built in film camera, and carry it tomorrow in the breast pocket of your shirt during the visit. You can share the movie with us then. I can assure you that it works, at least it did with us back in December 2015 when we visited the Solihull Defender production line. Still have that film on my computer. But, as a second thought, not really a good idea in your position. Hope you will like what you will get to see tomorrow. Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

I got all excited today, was on a factory tour at the liverpool plant with the kids. The guide warned us there are things we shouldn't yet see. He re routed us in the panel pressing section, spent the rest of the tour trying to spot something or some mules hidden somewhere

Hey McFly, I was just about to watch the video you linked. Then it got deleted as a duplicate post. Can't find the original, or on a youtube search. Can you link me to the original? Talented photoshoppers are awesome to watch.

In the spirit of 21stC snowflakeism, I’ve decided to follow the BBC’s lead and similarly as they call Islamic State “so-called Islamic State”, I’m going to now refer to this as the “so-called Defender”.
OT. I’ve never been sure who, when or why the BBC started referring to IS as ‘so-called’. That’s what they named themselves, whether or not there is an actual Islamic Caliphate recognised by the UN. There’s no ‘so-called’ about it. No different to McDonald’s, Barclays or Grenadier....just a thought. I’d prefer him to take a spy-shot. Or even a video. And leak it to us. By PM.... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Grenadier - you may well have something there referring to the "so called Defender". JLR actually refer to their two latest models as 'New' Range Rover Evoque and 'New' Discovery Sport so maybe JLR will call it the 'New'Defender.
I just hope they introduce some decent colour choices as the current colour chart looks pretty drab. I'm rather hoping that they bring a 'New' Defender to the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials this weekend Defender 90XS SW Mini Countryman Cooper S Morgan Plus 8 |
