Has anyone fitted the side window vent system (Defendervent) from MUD UK. Im interested to hear how good it is....... gettin a bit peed off in this damp weather with my side windows not clearing.....is it worth the £130? Life is not a rehearsal!

It's not the hardest job in the world to do this as a DIY mod. On my last 90 I got two side demister vents from an old Beetle, and some suitably sized hose to fit them. Then I drilled a hole with a holesaw in the panels at either end of the dash. Connecting the new hose to the existing windscreen hose takes a bit of imagination, but is possible with some self amalgamating tape. Total cost, about £5! My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk
