Whining transmission noice. Where to start?
Hi,

When I drive at a speed of 100 Km/h an annoying whine starts that’s getting louder when accelerating / going faster. When I push the clutch pedal it is gone.

So my first opinion it is somewhere the transmission.

Recently the front and rear difs where changed for air lockers, and a refurbished transfer box with Ashcroft locker was fitted.

Where to start looking for the noise?
