I am looking to get a a single item cut from around 3mm mild steel. The piece fits within 200mm square
I have googled and contacted precision-profiles and laserprocess but neither replied. Guess a single small piece is not worth their time, so looking for recommendations from experience of such work? I intend to provide a cad file > 110 XS Double Cab |

I believe there are some ebay sellers advertising the service if you send them a .dwg/.dxf file of the part. We had some stuff waterjet cut for the rollcage mounting brackets and it was hard to find a company who were willing to do a single item for cash payment. They are all set up for larger orders on account.

If AJC can’t help, I would suggest finding your nearest place and walking in off the street. I worked for a profiling firm with two big lasers, and small jobs like that are not worth messing about with, but if you walk in with a good CAD file and some cash you will likely to get someone who will help you out. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I used a local company through a work connection in the end but had to go through setting up a dummy account etc.
http://www.controlwaterjet.co.uk/ in case you want to try them. There are a few if you have a dig through the listings. I have found a few through 'plasma cutting service' and 'laser cutting service' as search phrases. Cheers, Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |
