Any possibility that a previous owner has disabled it somehow for security reasons?

Click image to enlarge Might be worth a check of the fuses too, although I'm sure the garages have also done this. |

I’ll check them but I’d have thought that I wouldn’t have power if they had blown. 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

It was working fine. Have used it for a remap, fault code clearing, pump learning etc .. just won’t connect now. 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X |

Ah yes, if your reader takes it power from the port, it shouldn't be blown.
In my situation, I'm pretty sure the previous owner has installed my immobiliser to interupt the data lines, hence me mentioning that. Any chance its taken damage? Maybe pushed one of the pins through the back? |

Had it all apart and looks okay. I've managed to get my Foxwell to connect but still no luck with the BAS tool. Looks like it can connect but not via the high speed CAN. I'll contact Pete at BAS. 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

Hi.
I'm with the same problem, you can not connect my Nanocom, one day I stop doing it, I clarify that the Defender works perfectly. I do not know where to start looking for the problem! Greetings. |

Try unplugging the dash and see if you can now connect?
