Look fantastic! Have to say I like the limestone too, especially with the matching cab. Both both look great. James

Thanks guys.
I tend to agree with you James, the limestone suits the retro look but the green falls in with the last of the line models. I get the impression that the limestone looks a bit more friendly if that makes sense. I could spray the cab back green and the roof white but that's unlikely to happen anytime soon. I have hard top sides and a full roof so I may go the green/white option there. Choices, choices |

Hi Doublea,
The colour is Masons Quick Drying C.T. 446E4 which is Masons colour match equivalent to Atlantic Green LRC 726. I tried LRC 726 from several different suppliers but there were variations in the shade of the same colour code so I went back to a previous owner to get the supplier and code he used for a respray a few years ago. Hope this helps. |

Does anybody know why the wheel nuts have to be tightened to 170 Nm when WOLF rims are fitted, please? It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten

My assumption for this is because the steel used is thicker:
The back of a wheel face (the knave face) - where it bolts on is slightly dished. The outer diameter of the hub should touch first then tightening the nuts pulls (bends) the centre of the wheel in. Thicker steel means more torque to pull it in. |

Thank you for the explanation, that makes sense. It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten

I will soon be able to join this club with my 110 WOLF, but it is currently shod in the boggo 750 Michelin XZL tyres, which I will probably replace with Cooper STT PRO's in 235/85/16 format.

Although I've just posted this in my thread on Wolf tyre sizes, I thought it ought to be here too:
