300tdi oil light issue
300 tdi Issue

I have a 300 tdi and had to do the head gasket. so put a new head fromer turners and new head gasket, changed that and then found the oil cooler was leaking into the radiator, so we changed out with new radiator.
Now the oil light is staying on and i will not run it just encase i cause any damage.

i have checked the oil sensor plug and taken out and cleaned, but still oil light will not turn of when turned over.

what should i be looking for next ? Big Cry Big Cry

How long has it turned over. (Idled)?

The engines I've rebuild, the first few swings of the starter, 1-2 seconds at a time, there is no pressure.

I keep on "pulsing" the starter until I get pressure.( Swing and switch off)

If switch is okay and you don't get pressure after about 5 tries, I would go deeper.

I only turned key then switched off again when light would go out.

Try a few more times but only for 2 seconds at a time.

I think one engine I did took 5 tries. If you aren't successful after that replace the switch.
