Take centre fascia off, remove the clock from the fascia and reseat/inspect where the buttons go for problems.

Try squirting some switch cleaner around the buttons - my radio used to mysteriously turn itself on often in the night when the vehicle was locked. Judicious used of contact cleaner solved the problem.
