The central locking has stopped working on one door - driver's side, 2nd row.
I assume it's a broken wire in the rubber tube that leads to the door. Before I start ripping it apart, are there any other likely locations for the problem? |

Thanks - I'm busy this weekend, but will take a look by the end of the month.

I have had issues with mine as the doors in the back are not used much and needed the old grease cleaning off then re-lubing. Of course in this case you could hear the solenoid trying to work.
When the front failed it was the wire in the door as it went through the little black tube and no solenoid sound. 2008 Defender 110 XS CSW Volvo S60 T8 Triumph 1200 Rally Explorer G0UBX |

I had same problem. Thought it was the wires as they’ve gone before but on inspection they were OK
I popped off the door cards and sprayed all linkages with white grease. As Swallock noted, back doors were the most seized cos of lack of use. Been fine since. 2012 110 XS SW Orkney Grey 2003 D2 Td5 Black [SOLD] |

I can't believe it's taken a whole year for me to get round to fixing this!
Could this be the problem? Click image to enlarge |
