Hi Def forum,
I am in the process of rewiring the DEF. I purchased a tap turn unit (which are very good but pricey) - I am looking at a simple illuminated rocker switch to activate the hazards. Any idea on how to wire the hazard LED so it flashes when on? if is wire to an indicator it will flash when turning - where is this wired to? To use anything but a 4 pole latching switch requires the use of relay/relays to make/break the required number of circuits.
The hazard switch when "off" it feeds ignition supply to the flasher relay input, when "on" it feeds 12V to the flasher relay input and connects the flasher relay output directly to both sets of indicators and the warning lamp.
