If you want to use the same aerial for CB and Radio you will need a splitter - something like this:
https://www.thunderpole.co.uk/switches-fil...itter.html - mixed reviews on signal quality For radio only - this is good: Blaupunkt Autoflex aerial - It is amplified so will need battery connection |

Have to confess I haven't had an external aerial for many years now. Initially because I had to replace the external aerial 4 times in a month because some silly sod had a habit of breaking them off at night when parked up.
Have had one of these amplified internal aerials fitted in one of the alpine windows since then and it has worked brilliantly; https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Home-Garden-Sto...B001AIPF06 |

Works well. However £7 ebay aerial works just as well. Will try and find the link but on this forum somewhere Edit - Link found: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250559708597?_t...EBIDX%3AIT Price increase since 2014 but still under a tenner from this thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic32181...bay+aerial |

Np - just noticed you are in Singapore.
Hope you are not ordering from UK ebay else the aerial would have travelled all the way from the far east to the UK and then back again to the far east... |
