insurance on a import

will A plan insure a imported car ? and are they a lot dearer than none imported.

2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 HT Fuji White

They did my JDM Impreza STi a few years back (that's a Japanese Domestic Market model if you're not up on Impreza gibberish incidentally).

They were quite dear for a start, but I got a couple of other quotes and they beat them, so I think you'll be fine.

You'll probably need their Thatcham offices. They do the oddities.

1998 Defender 90 V8 Petrol 50th Auto Chawton White

I have my Japanese imported 50th anniversary Defender insured with them on an agreed value policy. Been with them 3 years now and they were very competitive on price, in fact when I renewed this year it had only gone up £1 since last year
