Well it’s automotive cruelty to keep the series 2 locked up in the garage all alone...

A Classic RR is a joy to drive and with a Tdi you won’t feel the pain of never being able to pass a garage.

Yes they are lovely.
Is the space big enough - and how long are you going to be able to resist it? Just look for corrosion in the usual places: boot floor, inner cills and rear seatbelt anchorages. (I won't mention the upper and lower tailgates......) I'm going to Legends at Bicester on Sunday in my late RRC (maybe see you there?) As the Range Rover is no longer an everyday car I can enjoy the smooth V8 - and don't have to stop at too many petrol stations any more. And it's actually quite pleasant to get away from the diesel rattle in the Defender once in a while. Will be interested to see if you buy it. |

Looks just like my father's old M reg rrc. Lovely vehicle, great to drive and comfortable. Supposedly ended up in America, such a shame. James

Lovely looking thing just that, IMHO, a Rangie shouldn’t be powered by derv. It needs to waft and not clatter. Hold out for a V8... 1951 80" S1 2.0

Ultimately I suspect this is why this one has not found a new home. Plus having a non-standard International HS 2.8 engine, manual gearbox and an MOT failure note for good measure.

That’s very nice indeed.
This bit in the description did make me laugh though:

I hope you don't end up regret it but appreciate it's a lot of money tied up if you're not using it.
