Thanks for the kind words. Really enjoying playing with it.
This weekend we've tidied up the rear cross member and towbar with some Buzzweld Chassis In One, added some new Bosch AeroTwin wipers and fitted some shiny new door handles. Click image to enlarge We also finished carpeting the rear. We originally bought a carpet set from Lucari Solutions but it wasn't the best. The carpets sections were different shades of grey and it was cut wonky and didn't fit. They did offer to send some new pieces but we decided to use Veltrim instead. It looks much neater. (It's going to live under a rubber mat most of the time I suspect, but it does look nice!) Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

I've made a few more mods to my 90. Quite pleased with it now.
Got the subwoofer and tweeters installed. They made a massive difference. Even with soundproofing, you still have to have it cranked up to be able to hear it over the engine. I had to get my garage to install the carpet finishers from LRI. They were apparently quite a challenge to install and were interfering with the doors closing correctly. They look pretty decent when fitted, though. Click image to enlarge I swapped the orange bulb side repeaters for clear LED ones and added an ORE steering guard. The best mod though, not shown, was a clutch pedal assist spring. It's made it much lighter on the left leg! |
