The front end looks loads better like that. Thumbs Up Coming along nicely.

I have one more piece to change and we are laughing! It did look really tacky, the spots had seen better days and the nudge bar was well bent, Looks like something may have backed into it. I wouldn't mind another bull bar like I had on the old one. But its getting hold of one sadly. I will change the front bumper over though with another heavy duty unit I think. This one has seen better days, but it will have to wait Smile I may look at a swing away next for the rear end but i will have to buy a trim removeal tool, for the fasteners 1st. Then its a chat with a pal to help me. We did a great install the last time. Very Happy Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Is that rust on the lower bit of the x-member, to the right, near the step, looks a bit crinkley if you zoom in. I'm sure its not tho, but does look odd.. Nice truck btw. Wink 'Volvo XC 70, taking the rough with the smooth’

it is rusty, but its solid for now, the chassis on this one hasn't been welded oddly. But the floor needs a plate, which got £500 off the price. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

that's true, I only replace things like this if they have seen better days. I got it taxed but I will have to wait till the 1st now, due to where we are now in the month, Rolling Eyes So again its not going to be rolling on the road for yet another bloody week Evil or Very Mad gives me a little time to put the plates on properly instead of the gaffer tape. just got to keep firing her over now and again. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I will leave those on for now, I may fit bowler sills later on, The only thing when you remove the checker stuff is it leaves bloody holes off the rivets sadly.
Got one more item to install tomorrow sometime after work, Then we are rocking the full face lift Very Happy well stage one at the moment,
I will have the grill set up for grabs if any one is interested in those? Not my cup of tea but it could someone's on here Thumbs Up Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

BeaTie has a few dints that need to be sorted out, but otherwise she is ready to drive! Been out with her tonight there, As she has come up taxed on the system Bow down
Took her for a 1st good run, forgot how powerful this is with the remap! An old honda civic bubble shape tried to sit right up my arse at the lights, Went on metro mode and smoked his jap arse Mr. Green he tried to give a little chase but we were a way. Laughing
Here is the very 1st outing together Very Happy

Also this vent came yesterday so while my mum sorted out the plates for me I installed this, which is the final stage of removing the tat.

Sets the motor off nicely I think, Still got a few things to do, and order off. I may even switch the lights for crystals like I did with my old one. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Well my mate got a taste of this today, He never got the chance to drive the other one. He said its just like a mini to drive, the way the steering and pedals is, He said its sort of a cross between his mini and audi with the clutch, He took the long way back to his, just to enjoy the car more. He also said its miles better than the old car, He wont buy one due to the cost for the fuel of 4x4s but may look at a smaller 4x4s. Loved the power of the remap!! I am getting back into the swing of been behind the wheel again. Very Happy I will be giving her a run to work on Monday just to get some mileage under my belt again. Got to research the insurance for her, going to be expensive but it is what it is sadly. So I may have to hold off on a few things, I have my cheque from DVLA to put back in for the tax so that will give me that back. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Well the lads seemed to have taken more of a liken to this one, they said this one is miles better.
I surprised a few people going to work, with it remap, ( putting me on 306 HDI mode) Nice to have the heated window screen feature, it really is a great thing to have, it was all misted up this morning.
just need some Grafty vents and some top vents like I had on my old one for the side windows only and that's me sorted dash wise I think, Maybe a new radio Smile Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
