Hi Guys
Thought I would update you on my latest project which I started in Feb. I have had a few years off competing in rallies so thought about time to get back at it. Fancied something a little different so am making a M3 powered defender as not into black smoking the spectators with diesel fumes and the sound of the beemer engine should sound awesome in the woods. There is a 3 litre engine max size on rallying so 360 bhp BMW engine makes sence with six speed box,the sequential will come as soon the budget allows I will update when things happen but am doing in spare time so may take some time. The aim is to have built for this years Wales Rally Gb but might be a tall order!!! Build will be put up on andylandy in fb more regularly. Roll cage is due to arrive next week so body back off to weld chassis plates on, then off to Allisport for tank to be made, dash flocking, bias pedal box etc etc Plenty of defenders have been built for rallying but want to make it purpose built for purely tarmac or gravel events so can sit a little lower as wont be off roading etc Put some pics in gallery below Thanks Andy |

Hi Martin
I have removed all of the Land rover wiring and have made a custom loom up to remove all unwanted cables and moved fuse board to passenger side. Landy will have a stand alone ecu and lcd display thanks though |
