I've run BFG ATs and BFG MTs on previous Defenders and now run Cooper STs on both the 110 and 90. Very little difference on road and the STs have also been fine off road (as were the BFGs). John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

Tim, the cooper sidewalls are very stiff indeed. sounds like the LC was running them at much lower pressures.
FWIW I think the STTs are far, far superior to the KM2s. |

Will run on GGAT2 in the winter as they are winter rated |

Ken did you read my thread last year about GG AT2? Never again.
Also, regarding BFG, I have nothing against them at all, and the ATs had a legendary reputation. However, all the compounds are now new and they will not wear as well as they once did. There are other manufacturers now in the market which are taking over their position eg when the new cooper maxx comes out I'm betting we'll be seeing many of those on landrovers. Ditto Maxxis and matador. BFGs days of being the market leader are over. |

Mike dont really have a choice need to have proper Winter rated tyres
I really dont like GGAT2's most of the Defenders that get stuck on shoots are on them as well but needs must. I really like the KM2's longevity is not my prime need so I'm Happy Might try Goodyear MTR's again |

Having run the coopers for 8k km and the bfg for 30k km there is no question as to which is
the better for the road, bfg's are much much much quieter. |

Is there much road noise from the KM2's? I do a lot of motorways and would like some KM2's but the sensible side of me suggests I should go with AT's...
