The part number is LR006650 - £150ish for genuine. You might go through the threads and see if you want to remove it/isolate it. But if you do want to replace it I happen to have a spare (never fitted as I had the existing one isolated as part of a remap) - new in box (I think with the gaskets) - you're welcome to it for £60 plus the postage? My new EGR was actually much noisier than the old one. I replaced it because it was repeatedly throwing up one or more warning codes. I seem to remember reading that if blanking-off the EGR you need to write it out of the ECU but stand to be corrected on that one.

You only have two options;
1) Replace for new. Standard map tune. But it will need replacing again at a later date. 2) Fit a blank inlet side and get a tune with EGR shut permanently. This way is permanent and if combined with fuel additive I would say cleaner and more efficient in the long run full stop. There is certainly an MPG increase with both and definitely not a placebo.
