Liking that very much indeed - if I get another one, it'll be something like that; a soft top 90. I'd like to think it would look even half as good. Donald

Well done Toby, a great example to us all - I still reckon it should have a V8 under the bonnet though

Great work, looks fantastic!
Are they the Purely Metals hoops and Exmoor hood? Pleased with both? Thanks for confirming. Purely are local to me, they do a NAS spec galv hoop now just not sure it would suit an early 90. Did you get it as a package form All Wheel Trim or separately?
Please could I ask why you went for mohair over canvas at nearly half the price? We had a great weekend down at the Members Meeting at Goodwood last weekend.
We were in a amongst some pretty fancy motors, but the interest in our old truck was a real surprise. We have now down 230 miles and all seems to be ok, so far... Hi Guys
Thankfully the name Derek hasn't really stuck, it tends to get called "The Green One" or "The New One". Anyway it been 3 or 4 months since we finished it and got it back on the road, and its been brilliant. It's done 487 miles in that time, but everyone of those miles has been ace, it would be very difficult to calculate the Smiles Per Gallon. Only problems we've had are; The automatic turn offs on the indicators, they turn off as soon as the wheel is turned, I get them working by hand no problem, refit the wheel and they don't work again. very strange. It can be troublesome to get into 5th now and again. I think its that adjustment bolt on the side of the gearbox/selector box. The new doors seals make it tough to close the doors. I don't know if with series doors we have the wrong door seals. Any advice on the above would be great, but in essence its been great, a real worthwhile project.
