Nope, nothing in the back. I put a level on the roof rack and floor at the back, the thing sits level. Optics.

First week on the new springs, ATB, when I collected it there was a low down growl in the drive train which I assumed was from the ATB and new half shafts bedding in. However, a full week of 500 miles driving and it’s clear lowering it has caused an uncomfortable vibration... especially when coming off the gas, you can feel it and the cabin shudders... especially in slow moving traffic
I did put in Gwynn Lewis HD props, they were on their way out at the back, there was a lot of play so they did contribute to the clonking when changing gear. The clocking has completely gone, gear changes are smooth, really smooth, the slick shift also now coming into it’s own. What I suspect is the rear propshaft geometry is causing this, being lowered, angle of the rear prop, will be going standard height comfort springs instead... I will say this, the comfort springs transform the ride, they are brilliant and you simply don’t feel the harshness and banging and crashing ride... |
