A big vice and some old sockets as drifts etc.
Interestingly didn't find too many needles in one of the cups which had distinctly frayed edges and was drier that old mother hubbards dogs bone. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper. Wide Track Sankey- In bits- Gone to a new home M0XQS |

Yeah, they often get one that goes dry.
It's not unknown for them to disintegrate into dust really! The rear UJ prop to rear diff seems the most common failiure point. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Same as mine was then, I did both props in the end but I was surprised to find a nipple missing on that particular UJ and the front UJ nearest T box.
And it seemed like for a while yet no one told me until I checked myself. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

I was all ready to do the front as well, UJ's in box ready but when I took it off there was no play in the UJ's (a little in the spline) so I greased it up and put it back on. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.

Strong winds mean timber for my log burner.
Didn’t get much as my chain was blunt, and I’d forgotten my spare, so only half a load. Click image to enlarge 2002 td5 90 county hardtop |

Picked up SWMBO 90 XS from my main dealer after the insurance claim for severe paint damage by a horse!! Made a few changes, had all the side lights, indicators etc changed to smoked original size, the bonnet lettering repsrayed from silver to black, had the lower mesh sprayed black as well as the bumper. Very pleased with the finished result
