Its been back and they said they cant find the fault i even had a video to show them !

Does the alarm go off when locking with the key?
From memory key locking only disables the perimeter bit of the alarm ( the internal sensors) You should still have immobilisation and alarm on the doors. If it only goes off on fob locking it might be the internal perimeter sensors causing trouble. Have you changed the fob battery and tried re-synching the fob to the car to eliminate these as a problem. |

It should be possible to interrogate the alarm ECU (the non-Lucas AS10 substitute on your vehicle) and see what event triggered the alarm i.e. which volumetric or perimetric sensor.
You dealer is being typically useless and disinterested if he doesn't do this, demand a better level of service! |

Thanks for the replys
I had the Fob Batterys changed but still happens Alarm does not trigger when you lock manually when Alarm sounds on fob locking Dealer said not faults show |

Disconnect the interior sensor and try for a while. You can also bypass bonnet switch early and also try that if no luck with interior sensor. They are the most common probs.

He shouldn't be looking for faults. If the alarm is working OK but one of the triggering sensors is faulty, no faults will show since the alarm thinks that a genuine event has occurred. The Lucas AS10 will tell you what event triggered the last alarm and hopefully the thing that replaced the AS10 will do the same, so if he locks the vehicle and the alarm sounds, it will tell him what the alarm thinks has happened to cause the alarm to sound. It may be that this will allow the fault to be traced to, for example, the volumetric sensor. It is also possible that it is a fault with the alarm ECU itself, in which case probably nothing will show. Either way, if the vehicle is under warranty and has a demonstrable fault, I don't think it is acceptable for the dealer simply to say that he can't find anything wrong. |
