Rusty Wheel Nuts
I have put on a set of modulars on the 110 and I used some black nuts that I got for it but the flipping nuts are rusting and look crap. What have people done to sort this out?
Is the best solution to get plastic caps for the nuts?

They look like standard steel nuts as used on Defender Wolf or standard steel wheels. You can buy a set of genuine black nuts, from Dan at Duckworthparts on here for instance. I use those black genuine steel nuts in winter on my Wolf winter wheels, 9 years in a row now and no rust at all.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

My genuine nuts went rusty too - I took them off wire brushed and sprayed with black Stove Paint as it doesn’t need primer, matches the finish and seems to last so far

Thanks all. Think I will have to source nut caps of some sort sat the tops of the studs are rusty too so no point having shiny nuts and a rusty bolt Whistle
