I have a Kinetic DEGA-T4002 telescopic DAB glass mount aerial fixed to the top left corner of my windscreen. It is absolutely superb. I manage to get a signal in many places the factory fit DAB aerials in my other cars can’t. It was a doddle to fit too and after 10 months fitted there is no sign of the adhesive on either side of the glass letting go.

I got from a company called dabonwheels.

I also get interference when I put the lights on spoke to a ICE man in Harlow on Saturday he told me he's done loads of Defenders and fits a VW aerial and that works so booked in to have this fitted next week, fingers crossed this will work.

OK Problem solved.

The DAB tuner on certain kenwood and JVC models has an inherant fault in them. Swapped to a poineer in the workshop and worked fine. Will put a post in about the models affected but itæs the ones that are half defth (Not standard depth)
The models affected are the JVC KW-M745DBT sold on Mudstuff and the Kenwood DMX7018
The full depth models such as the kenwood DMX7017 are ok.

I've also tested 4 types of car airiel before swapping the head unit and the best one by far for reception is the opriginal vehicle one. Go figure.

he is no interference from the bluesea USB.

Have an official reply from Kenwood to clarify. Next batch of units will be redesigned and will be available in June/July

I must live in a rubbish signal area as the town centre is fine, but near my house is just awful.
Only concern is all other cars work great.
Mine can’t get anything but static on dab and FM.

Anyone used the nakatanakaka..... one?

I have the Naka antenna, and a splitter box so it picks up DAB and FM. It's very good (though if I use one of my 4 usb sockets on the dash, the DAB is lost and the FM turns to mush but i'm sure that's a wiring problem not a Naka problem (just can't find the solution yet!) 110 Defender 300tdi & Penman trailer with ally exped top and roof tent
