Thank you for the reply’s but I don’t think the link works, it just comes up with the link can not be found.
Insurance is something I’m very interested in when I spoke to the insurer (Aviva) they said as long as the seats count is below 6 and installed to the manufacturer spec they are fine with it |

Declare the seats as a mod and they should be fine. A plan are and no extra charge in premium. There's a designated bracket that fits in the corner, which carries the reel and top mounting.

Eddited to add sorry Ive not got any pictures. I used genuine parts other than the arch plates. passed another MOT Saturday and hes was more than happy Phil at OEM supplied all the bits, but a full kit seems readily available from others like YRM or LRI |

On mine there is a bar under the wheel arch that the bottom of the seat belt bolts to through the floor. It’s attached to the rear bumper inside the rear wheel arch. I guess the floor itself wouldn’t be strong enough to retain the seat belt in the event of an accident so Land Rover reinforced it with a bloody great bar attached to the bumper / chassis! It’s a pig to get in and out! I know cos I fitted rear wheel arch liners and the bar had to be removed and then reinstalled to get them in.

I have the exmoor trim fwd facing rear seats fitted in the back of my TD5. Disclosed to my insurer (NFU) and no problems at all.

I don't actually - it is a van back with self cut windows, so square-edged arches.
I installed the loc and fold (earlier model) which has the buckle receiver attached to the seat rail. I'm not sure what the situation is nowadays but back then it was the only type approved one which would be insurable per se. This pic is of current version of what I have.
