No, it only a couple of responses. On checking back, it was South Africans that like it, not the US. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

OK this has surfaced again, Costco still doing these tires for around 110, I can't work out if I should replace all 5 at costco, or just renew the 3 General Grabber AT's that are low and keep the truck on GG tyres......and views most welcome. The GG are a bit more expensive that the costco Goodyears.

Grabber TRs are stone age tyres, the only thing they really have going for them is that they seem to last almost forever. I'd be looking for any excuse to dump them for something else. If a couple of yours a still decent you may even get someone to pay you a couple of quid for them. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Would those goodyears be better then? There seems to be very little review wise on the net about them on a defender.

It depends what you mean by better. All comes down to your use really. The TR is a basically an on road tyre, albeit an old one. An AT sacrifices some road performance for some off road ability. I've not tried those Goodyears, but they look like a fairly mild AT so should still be good on road. I can't see a wet grip rating so it is hard to compare. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

If you go on My Tyres, put the size in, you can order the results by wet grip rating. Don’t forget to look at both Summer and All Season categories as there are high rated tyres in both categories. The EU ratings are not the flawless, but at least you know you aren’t buying a duffer I’d you get something C rated or better. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I just noticed that Costco have the Latitude Cross in 235/85, for a pure road tyre I would go with that over the Goodyear. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
