Changing the PRV
Does anybody know what gasket is used between the PRV and the fuel rail (see red arrow)?
Is it a copper ring, does it need to be replaced when you change the PRV?
If yes, does anybody know the inside/outside diameter and thickness, or maybe a part number?

Hi,
I have only changed the valve on a ford transit, with obviously, the same 2.4 engine. There is a copper washer that comes with the valve (I bought a genuine ford part) for the point you have highlighted.
There is also a copper washer on the nozzle that you have to remove from the valve - this is not replaceable and needs replacing as a whole however with a small wrap of PTFE tape on the threads as precaution, I have not had one leak yet.
Hope this is of some help.

I had a look at the box of the PRV, it is not DENSO but FEBI BILSTEIN (Part 46366).
So I was wrong in my previous post.

On the photo's on the WWW there is always a copper washer included, but not with the PRV I recieved. Sad
is the washer (what should come with it) for the left side (fuel rail) or for the right side (return hose side)?

The new washer goes up against the rail (inside), sealing your new valve.
The union that threads into the PRV, the part the return pipe clips onto has a washer as part of it i.e the threads are larger than the centre diameter of the washer.
This is all from memory so if anyone else can confirm

In a pinch re-use the copper washer by annealing it. Heat it red hot with soldering torch, allow to cool and flat off with fine abrasive paper (300 grit minimum) on a flat surface > 110 XS Double Cab
