Hi folks looking for some advise.
Currently looking for a good reasonably priced diesel fuel heater with GSM mobile remote operation. I’ve heard and seen recently a lot of good reports of these Chinese heaters but none with remote op. Firstly does anyone think these Chinese ones are good or a waste of money and time? As I was looking I came across this page regarding a GSM remote relays. SEE LINK BELOW. http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?4...bile-phone Obviously this is been fitted to a boat but would this work in line with the above DFH. My other thought with this would it trigger the alarm if the vehicle sees a 12v switch on as I’m running a TD5 with central locking. This seems like a very cheap solutions to GSM operated heaters but maybe I’m missing something. Any suggestions or thoughts would be much appreciated thanks. Jack. |

There's a very active facebook group for the Chinese heaters, personally I'd fit either a new Planar or a second hand Webasto out of a Rover 75 (et al) with a DIY control system.
