Close to our old warehouse was a secondary school or is that an academy in modern day parlance.
Parents thought they had the right to park in pub car park, park in the mill car park, double yellow lines did not apply to them. Pavements provided extra car parking spaces. Frightening thing was that a couple of driving schools etc thought that double yellows etc did not apply to them. It can be amazing seeing how some drivers select which laws apply to them. Brendan |

On my route to work is a school where certain halfwits make their kids exit the car whilst they're in the right turn lane at a junction, so the kids are getting out into a live traffic lane on the left.
I am constantly astounded and horrified at just how bad school run driving is. |

FOR SALE, GRAVEYARD
In our local area a graveyard has been for sale for about last two years atDENHOLME Just a graveyard, no house, chapel etc attached to graveyard. Conditions of sale include
Now the interesting thing in those conditions are the war graves. Presumably injured soldiers who returned home and then died of their wounds. I might have to see if I can find out a bit more about those war graves. Brendan Last edited by leeds on 30th Jan 2019 8:09pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Not far from me. Second time that has been on the market in recent years. Plenty of ex church / chapel properties that have been converted into domestic dwellings have dead folks buried within their boundaries. Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. I can't say that having a few lawn stiffs in the garden would bother me at all, I'd just be careful where I planted the veggies.
