As an update, I've got all of the warning lights working as they should (on the bench). I need to compare this to the defender outputs to see if I'm going to have to use any relays for warning light switching.
As a bonus the cluster controls the warning chimes and has a door switch input. When the ignition is off, the illumination is on and the door is opened you get a lights on warning chime which is cool There are only 2 things I'm struggling with. 1) When you power the cluster up ("switch the ignition on") the warning chime and seatbelt light are on for about 6 seconds which isn't ideal as every time you start the car. (Goes and stays off after about 6 seconds). 2) The PRND gear indicator light is flashing constantly (all digits at the same time) the cluster is from a manual vehicle so I'm not sure why that's happening? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

The seat belt warning is a setting that can be adjusted with nanocom, off / timed / switched.
No idea on the second problem - but if you can connect it back up in a D2 for a nanocom just go through all the instrument cluster settings and make sure there are all ok |

Thanks both
Diesel_jim do you think that could be because the disco high and low range maps are reversed in the ECU? As in when the defender wiring/ECU setup is in high range it is using the low range disco map? So very slow throttle pedal for the first ⅓ or so of travel? Jontd5 I hadn't realised that you could change those sorts of settings as I've never played with a Td5 Discovery. Can it be done with an original Nanocom or does it need to be a Nanocom Evo? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

I've no idea there, I only have the nanocom evo, I'd imagine the nanocom one would work. The connection to the instrument pack is a sub menu in the bcu settings, the seatbelt warning is one of them as far as I remember
