Oh diesel_jim, I cant lie, but i didn't want to admit it either, but here goes;
We fitted the brake calipers on the front upside down, so obvious now we know, but it took us ages to establish our mistake. haha. no probs... I fitted a Td5 clutch plate the wrong way around when I built one of my 90's a few years back... and I'm a REME trained mech!

Passed its MOT today.

Thanks BS - but it was not hard.
It's a long job - I'll give you that, and I think it helps if there are two of you, because you are letting the other one down if you don't commit and turn up as agreed - therefore things mostly get done as planned and when planned. I have learnt a hell of a lot - I mean who the hell knows about "End Float" not me before this. Good luck to all the others out there, if I can be of any help, probably not, but if - just PM me. I will continue to update this thread with what now goes wrong, but I would just like to thank everyone on here who helped with my many questions along the way. See you out on the road boys.
