Thank you. I actually have one. It’s just too small for a defender. Only just fits my escort in it.

Assuming it's a 70's classic, I'm sure I speak for many on here that whilst it's 'Off Topic', we'd love to see some snaps of your Escort Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

I wish it was a Mk1 or Mk2 and I’ve always aspired to have one. The plan was to get one but prices have gone daft and I don’t think I will be doing now. It did have my Mk3 Escort S1 RS Turbo in it. Now houses my Escort Cosworth. I once had a nice ford collection but children took over and some were reluctantly sold to fund a house that would accommodate us all

Yesterday replaced the rocker gasket again in an attempt to stop the oil leak. The old one had gone hard.

Today pressed in the new bushes for the rear trailing arms.
Then progressed to install said arms with new bushes and bolts/nuts.
176nm is hard work lying under the car with no room to move.
The Makita impact gun helped reduce some of the work. 1999 Defender TD5 110

A couple of days off work this week so I decided (thanks to Santa) to go old school and fit a pair of Hella fog lamps to the 110. Fitted the switch on the cubby box and installed a voltage sensitive relay to provide an ignition live in the battery compartment to feed them. Took longer to fit all the wiring than the lamps. Job done.

Realised both back door locking mechs were seized and not locking, took the dog out on the Plain for a scamper and had a thoroughly nice time. Lots of standing water about.

And yes, he did dive into the puddle.

Bit of a muddy day out yesterday provided a good excuse for a proper inside and out clean Smile

We do, and he certainly does - hard to believe he was reluctant to get his paws wet as a pup. We even had to encourage him to splash through puddles. Now he wallows like a hippo ...

That's a lovely looking truck, have you some more photos??? And them wheels - wow! That the sort of stance id like to go for..
And the roll cage too, not that I do major off-roading, but the safety and protection aspect is very appealing, I don't mind myself getting hurt, but want my wife and any passenger to be safe.. Regards

Adam17: Here's a front on shot from a previous thread.
Tyres are BFG 35's KO2s on 10x15 rims (-60 offset). Cage is from Safety Devices and the truck has a 2 inch lift and a BAS 170 remap.
