If the VCV gasket (or that area.) was leaking it'd be likely be the lower side that's out of sight.

I had this situation with my waterpump a few years ago, couldn't see anything from above nor really from underneath until tracing it back from underneath and with really good light.

I'd clean it up, then take a look at where it originates from you should be able to trace it back but probably not from the top at all.

As those items (PRV and VCV) were recently changed I'd be thinking along those lines to be looking at especially the VCV as the PRV being much higher up should be easier to spot. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Thanks for all of your help.
It is leaking from the fuel temperature sender.
I’ve tried to tighten it but it is right so assume I need to replace the unit or just the washer.
Can you buy the washer on it’s own?

Is it likely that this leak is causing a pressure drop and stopping the engine starting?

If I replace the sender with the fuel system need bleeding?

Thanks again

Had another looks and tried to tighten the two Alan bolts next to the VCV. They were not nipped up. I have tightened them a bit and retried to start. No leak. It must have been running down onto the fuel temp sender. I need to try and tighten more (longer Alan keys?).

However still not starting - could that be air in the system or still need to tighten the bolts?

How do you bleed if air in?

8nm - that’s not very tight. No surprise they came loose. It’s good they don’t have to be too tight as they’re a pig to access.

That bleeding doesn’t look straight forward unfortunately 😬

Got it started however still leaking.

Is it possible to buy just a replacement gasket and o ring for the fuel vapour valve - ie not the whole unit? I’ve done a search but can’t find the separate parts.

Thanks
