I think that range is about right. I found that out recently when doing a test drive while further troubleshooting my resurrected Puma. According to my buddy, my MAF sensor was shot as there were times I would get those values and at times it would just be stuck at 7 g/s sometimes even 2 g/s. He said that's why I still get a knocking sound when we go around as the ECU cannot determine the correct amount of air for the proper mix. He told me that as soon as I replace the MAF sensor with a new, functioning one, the engine should smoothen out. I'm sure the more seasoned members can verify or correct this. |

In my case, we've cleaned it a few times now, still no bueno. It did work for a few weeks before packing it up though. That's why, even if it's new, we have determined that it's kaput.
