England 2004 Defender 110 Td5 XS CSW Java Black
Unneerving activity by my truck
So yesterday afternoon I was at work - We have a private car park - which unfortunately isn't secure...

A member of staff noted two guys that weren't supposed to be in the car park, they came and notified myself and the manager - We went out and confronted them, asked them to move on - after a bit of a mouthful off them they eventually left..
it looked like they were taking photos of their black corsa - SD08 something, the other chap arrived in a black VW Golf.

The corsa they were photographing, happened to be in front/passenger side of my Defender - which I wasn't happy about, but heyho... I had wondered if they were looking at my truck.

Thinking about it on my way home, I pulled down a street and gave the truck a once over underneath with a torch to see if they had left anything behind as I hear that some thieves will use a tracker to find out where you live to come back and take it..

I didn't find anything - and today I managed to give the cctv a once over to see if I could see anything.. although one chap does get very close to my truck(as in right next to it, and looks like he's touching it), it does look like he is facing the other way and taking a picture of the corsa. But the cameras are quite bad.

Any info on where could be a hiding place for a tracker would be good for future reference...
My defender is now parked outside the front entrance to work, and should anyone get close, the G5 will chirp and let me know. Regards
Adam

I wouldn’t get paranoid Adam, if your going to worry every time someone goes near your defender maybe it’s time to get rid of it? Ever wondered who goes near it when you can’t see it? There are so many places to place a tracker unit on a Defender in seconds the list would be endless.

Enjoy your Defender, drive it, have fun in it, don’t let it rule your life Thumbs Up 2015 HT XS 90

I honestly wouldn’t be worried, a lot of dealers and rental agents check up on their property, probably just doing a condition assessment before repossession or something. I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/

Not convinced that is what it was. They were dodgy looking carictors at best, and one looked pure evil...
I have my way of dealing with them, but society wouldn't agree, and I'd land up in jail for a long time... And being at work you have to be 'reasonably polite' to everyone.. I still have my bills to pay unfortunately lol Regards
