This is exactly what I had my dealer do for mine when it went in for warranty repairs. I can vouch that these are a top notch product 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

No, I made them from 2mm rubber sheet. It was slightly more involved than just scissors but still quite easy. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

Hi,
Rosco had his main dealer fit a set of these window blocks, and he’s kindly let me share some pics, so here is what the finished article looks like: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Cheers Huttopia |

As a pre-Christmas offer they are available for £60 a pair, including gaskets and postage to normal UK mainland addresses, happy to charge cost to other destinations. Thanks Paul |

Very tempted to order as the ones on my low mileage MY16 are bubbling and though LR agree to fix it has taken them five months to do nothing
I think I would like to leave them unfinished and they would be a great contrast with a Corris truck and black roof, but what wax would you suggest to prevent fading Rob 1993 200tdi 90 hard-top 1998 300tdi 90 soft-top 2016 2.2 XS 90 hard-top (sold) |

Agree with CarMan...I think they'll look just the ticket on my black & grey XS; as for main dealers, I've no intention whatsoever in letting them loose with a spray gun near my Defender, especially as the blocks will bubble up again.
As for wax, I suspect any good stuff will do & I also intend to smear ACF50 grease on the gaskets before fitting. On a slightly separate note, does anyone out there know the torque settings for the block bolts? Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains |
